Stocks
The Tradesight Stock Service is the flagship and original Tradesight subscription service. Established as an e-mail newsletter in 1999, the service has evolved over the years to include in-depth market information, trade call reviews, and trade calls prior to each session. The main report currently consists of the following sections:
Futures Recap from the Prior Session
This segment shows the ES, NQ, and ZN and how the Tradesight Levels played out against those symbols in the prior day’s trading. It also shows a measure of Market Direction based on three line calculations that Tradesight has created (available as an e-Signal tool). Market direction is critical to our “Top-Down” view of trading the markets.
Market Overview
This segment analyzes the current state of the markets and is written by different analysts on different days to give subscribers a variety of different perspectives on where the market is heading. This section of the report is also available for free in the Tradesight Market Blog several days a week and posted to our Twitter feed.
Trade Recap
This segment summarizes the calls from the prior day and how they worked or did not work. Tradesight reviews every trade that triggers each day. Since all reports are archived going back to the beginning of Tradesight, subscribers have full access to a record of every call ever made off the reports and how they played out. That’s about a decade of trading review that we stand by. Each of these calls denotes whether the trade triggered with or without market support and then summarizes the win/loss ratio for the day based on the trades that triggered with market support.
Tradesight Swing Rating
This numeric representation of broad market direction day-over-day is designed to help traders decide whether to hold positions overnight.
Economic Reports Due
This segment gives traders an easy place to see what economic reports are coming out during the trading session, including pre-market releases.
Long and Short Ideas
This segment gives the trigger, stop, sector, and type of pattern for both long and short trade ideas based on the daily charts heading into the new session. Calls are made by a variety of analysts and depend entirely on what their nightly scans find in the market. Each day, the reports can have up to 20 calls, although 6-10 is average.
Charts and Commentary
This segment shows the charts for each of the new calls and includes any commentary by the analysts about their calls or the market in general.
In addition to the reports, the Stock service includes a feed in the Tradesight Messenger, an Atom-based web reader that allows Tradesight analysts to give additional calls and commentary to subscribers, delivered straight to their desktops in real-time. See the Messenger page for details and to download. Additional content includes some daytrading ideas, market volume and directional commentary, and updated stops.
Small Cap Report
The Small Cap Report can be purchased separately or as part of a Tradesight Stock package, such as the Total Stock Package. This separate report is generated twice per week (prior to Monday’s market and prior to Wednesday’s market). It includes a recap of any trades that triggered off of the prior report, an analysis of the small cap (Russell 2000) market, and new calls with entries and stops that are valid until the next report. Only listed stocks trading between $1 and $10 that trade average volume of at least 250,000 shares per day are included in the reports. All calls are long entries, no shorts, and no Pink Sheet or Bulletin Board plays. The Small Cap report has been the most heavily subscribed service out of all Tradesight services since it was added in 2003.
ETF Service
The ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds) Service was added in 2005. It is available as a free-standing subscription or as a discounted add-on to the main Tradesight Stock service. This service includes one report a week for trade reviews and overall market commentary, plus multiple calls via the Tradesight Messenger every day in the most popular ETFs, which include QQQQ, SPY, OIH, IWM, GDX, FAS, and many more.
Best Pick Service
In October 2010, Tradesight added its Best Pick service for only $9.97 per month. This service provides one stock pick, long or short depending on the environment, via the Tradesight Messenger the evening prior to the trading session. The pick includes a suggested entry, stop, first target, and the chart. Monthly results are posted to the Tradesight Market Blog.
24-Hour Trading Lab
Tradesight offers a 24-hour Trading Lab with four analysts providing round the clock information and trade management suggestions on the Stock, Forex, and Futures markets. This is available as an add-on to the main stock service for $69 per month and is included in the Tradesight Total Stock service.
